When can I extend my warranty?
You may extend your warranty either before or after your original 1-year warranty expires.
Please note: If you extend the warranty after the original 1-year warranty expires, the extension will be only for the remaining time period from your original date of purchase. For example, if you purchased a server with a free 1-year warranty on January 1, 2016, and you buy an extended 2-year warranty on September 1, 2017, your extended warranty will expire on January 1, 2019.
What does the extended warranty cover?
The extended warranty gives you the exact same coverage as your original warranty: You will get your server replaced in case of failure which cannot be otherwise resolved.
In case of server failure or difficulties, please contact the Waves Tech Support team. If the server is found to be defective, we will initiate a replacement procedure: we will send you a server of the same model and CPU generation, and arrange for pickup of the defective server.
